Cumbernauld Swimming Club was founded in 1964 with training getting held in Cumbernauld High School. The club transferred to the Tryst Sports Centre in 1973 and immediately blossomed from a small club of 50 members to over 100 members. The club is now well established as one of the top swimming clubs in Scotland and operates currently has over 130 swimmers divided into seven squads who train up to eight of nine sessions per week.
We are first and foremost a competitive swimming club whose objectives include:
- Providing a high level of qualified expertise in coaching and sports science.
- Providing a combination of opportunities to enable all competitive members to fulfill their maximum potential.
- Placing high importance on our Child Protection Policy, where the child’s welfare is our main priority.
