West District Short Course Championships Senior Age Group
viagra buy online india Swimmers from Cumbernauld Swimming Club travelled to the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow this past weekend to compete in the West District Senior Age Group Competition.
This event features all events in all strokes at distances greater than 100 metres over the course of two days.
follow site For the Boys, Michael Flynn led the medal charge, winning Gold in the Age 15 400 metre Freestyle event as well as a Bronze in the 200 metre Freestyle. Michael also grabbed two Silver medals in the 100 metre and 200 metre Backstroke, and in the process broke an all time Cumbernauld Swimming Club record for the Boys 200 metre Backstroke which had stood for the previous 8 years.
Cameron Creaney powered his way to a Bronze medal in the Age 14 boys 200 metre Butterfly, and Craig Greenock also grabbed a Bronze in the same event in the Boys age 16 and over age group.
source url Elle O’Reilly was in fine form for the girls, striking Gold in both the 200 metre Individual Medley and the 400 metre Freestyle in the Age 15 category. Teammate Georgia Knox joined her, bagging a Silver in the 100 metre Backstroke as well as a Bronze in the 200 metre Backstroke.
Many swimmers were in fine form and achieved multiple personal best swims, some of whom were competing in their first West District event. Jake Lindsay achieved a personal best in the 1500 metre Freestyle while Ben Brown and Shaun Selbie each swam their way to places in the finals of events.
